Background to Brazier Consulting:
Having worked within the public and private sectors in a series of multi-disciplinary roles spanning over 30 years, I carry a wealth of experience and professional competency within the field of engineering, construction and building management.
Latterly I worked as a Technical Director for a Housebuilder, and have led countless multiple-plot housing developments over an 18 year period and have been involved in the preparation of Planning and Building Regulations drawings and Project Management of these schemes from conception to handover.
I founded Brazier Consulting (Yorkshire) Ltd in May 2024 to specialise in providing a raft of freelance professional services. I currently provide specialist sub-contract consultant support to a national consulting engineers practice, where I am largely involved with structural surveying and the preparation of structural reports. I also provide professional architectural surveying and draughting services to a well-respected architectural practice, based in the Vale of York.
In addition to this, I provide Professional Services to my 'own' commercial and domestic clients, generally in the preparation and submission of Planning and Building Regulations Applications. Although I can also provide Project Management, Site Services, Building Diagnostic Advice, Condition Surveys, Structural Advice and Snagging Reports.
I pride myself on being a friendly and approachable construction professional, who can provide guidance through the Planning and Building Regulations process, offering Architectural, Engineering and Building Surveying Services backed by a progressive career of technical involvement in Engineering, Construction and Project Management at the highest level.
